HFHC Healthcare is pleased to announce its service has been rated to be ‘good’, across all assessed areas, by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

HFHC Healthcare offers a full range of specialist home care services across Lincolnshire, North East Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire, providing carers and support workers to people in their own homes, as well as supplying specialist staff to other establishments. Services include Complex Care, Dementia Care, End of Life Care, Palliative Care, Elderly Care, Learning Disability Support and Mental Health Support.

CQC assessed the service on five key areas – Safety, Efficiency, Caring, Responsive and Well-led – considering every aspect of the business, including staff, training and support, internal policies, procedures and systems.

As part of the assessment CQC contacted relatives of HFHC Healthcare’s clients, to gain feedback on the care provided. Quotes from relatives featured in the report highlight the staff’s care and compassion: “I couldn’t fault the carers, they were very professional”, “The staff were kind”, “The carers did all they were asked to do with a smile on their face each time they visited” and “In life and death [name] was treated with the utmost respect”.

HFHC Healthcare is committed to providing the highest quality staff training, supported by the Gold Standards Framework, as we continue in our mission to drive up standards in the Health and Social Care sector. This was heralded in the report, with staff members commenting: “The training provided here is very good” and “I have worked for other agencies in the past. This is the best agency I have worked for so far.”

All staff receive a wide range of support from our base at the Social Care Exchange, Lincoln, which allows them to focus on providing high-quality care. Staff have access to specialist teams including training, positive behaviour support, resourcing and data analysts as well as more than 20 other specialised departments. One staff member comments in the report: “I phone the manager and get fantastic help and support from them and all the other departments at the Social Care Exchange.”
